Someone to actually do the books.
Accounting software is a tool. Somebody still has to use it. If that somebody is you, at eleven at night, on a Sunday, badly, this is the page.
The problem
You know the books need doing properly. You also know you're the worst possible person to do them, and a full-time accountant isn't a cost that makes sense yet.
What we arrange
- Someone qualified, doing your books on a schedule.
- Reconciliation, invoicing, chasing what you're owed.
- Reports that tell you how the business is actually going, monthly, not once a year.
- Ready for your auditor or your accountant at year end, instead of a shoebox in April.
- Working in the software we set up, so it's one joined-up thing.
How this fits with the software
Business Systems sets the software up. This puts a person on the work. Most clients want both, and they work better together, but you can have either.
What we don't do
We don't audit and we don't file your statutory returns. Where the law says you need a licensed local accountant, you need one, and we'll say so plainly rather than take the work.
FAQ
Is it a real accountant?
Yes. We'll tell you their qualifications before you commit.
How much of my time does it take?
Less than doing it yourself, by a long way. Some at the start, then very little.
Can they work with my existing accountant?
Yes. Usually your accountant is relieved.
